Notable Projects
Aliso Canyon
Following the leak at the Aliso Canyon storage facility in 2015, RWA was part of a team that performed a review of the SoCal Gas System which modeled the impact of the Aliso Canyon Storage outage effect on reliability of power and gas in the LA Basin. This report was co-authored with the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).
After this report, RWA assisted state bodies in facilitating workshops/stakeholder engagement on the topic and later worked to deliver another report which analyzes regulations affecting natural gas storage fields since the Aliso Canyon event and potential alternatives to provide natural gas for the LA Basin.
Delaware Public Service Commission
In 2020, RWA was selected by the Delaware Public Service Commission to assist in the drafting of new regulations governing future reporting requirements for Delaware utilities. RWA worked with the utilities, the PSC, and other parties to finalize these regulations and then has worked on an annual basis to provide oversight on the behalf of the PSC to ensure utility compliance with the new regulations.
